This is sort of gear related too. How do you guys combat poor lighting in taking gear pictures? I do see some take guitars outside in sunlight for pictures. This is the second straight house that gives everything a yellow tint inside. This hone has peach or yellow wallows. Add in poor yellowish lighting and nothing looks quite right. My guitar strap pictures were horrible. It almost looks like an old photo faded from the 70s. Sort of cool as an effect but not for all pictures. I do and understand lighting as a did a lot of stage and room lighting in the 80's but not so much about photography itself and if poor lighting can be comoensated for. I suppose I could buy a couple umbrella stand lights but how often would I use them?
